Adoption Story #1

Most people who know me know that I am adopted. I've been with my adoptive mom since i was 3. I always thought about my blood relatives when I was younger, but it wasn't such a big deal. Now that I am older and maturing I am interested in finding my parents. I want to know where do I get my looks from, Where do I get some of my personality from, Where is my family from? Then of course there is the big question.....why didn't you keep me?

Today at the court house I signed the Adoption Information Registry form and I also got it notarized ( have the document legally signed) Now that, that is done I will mail the form to the adoption agency. This is a new chapter in my book of life.

Im nervous, scared.....Im afraid of disappointment. I always see the fairy tale story when families are reunited and they are happy and everything is perfect. What if I don't get that? What if my family hates me, what if my mother is dead? There are so many what "if's" running through my brain. I know everything isn't going to be perfect, but im ready for it. I have my mother and family and friends behind me. I always have a shoulder to cry on, and people to talk to. I thank you all for that.

*Sigh*....now all I can do is wait and anticipate. I will keep this blog updated.

Yea I said it! Im Obsessed with vampires. vampire books, vampire movies, anything vampire I love it. I even want to be a vampire for halloween. Lol. I also have a book in my head that I want to write that deals with vampires, warwolves, and wizards and other dark creatures. No I am not gothic, some people this when I talk about things of that nature but I'm actually a very bright happy individual.

Why do guys think that material things will keep a girl around after her cheats or does her wrong? In the song mario says:

Its crazy that some men believe or think that all women are materialistic...

Material things in a relationship to me and many other women don't matter, don't get me wrong its nice to get gifts but it shouldn't be the main reason the relationship is going strong. You cannot buy love, and you cannot buy back love by showering a girl with gifts.

I know there are a few women out there who would stay with a man after he does her wrong because that man provides her with the flyest clothes. And when he hits her, he comes back saying sorry with a diamond bracelet in his hand. Its just sad that some women rely on a man to provide for them. Its the year 2009, year of Ms. Independent. Women need to learn to provide for themselves and learn that materials thing don't make you, your personality does. You can be fly without having all the expensive name-brand clothes and jewelry.

Also, In the song Mario expresses how he loves her. Most likely the girl doesn't love him. She is probably just a gold digger who is staying around for his money and for status. Forget love, she may not even like you. Is that the kind of women a man wants?

So I'm wondering:
Girls would you stay with a man after he hurts you, if he gives you the gift that you always wanted?
Guys do you believe that you can buy a girls heart with money and clothes and jewelry?

Ps: The song is catchy and I have to admit its on my ipod. Lol. But don't think you can buy my heart.

Loud Sex Might Cause Her To Go To Jail

Were you ever in a room at night, and heard you neighbors "getting it on"? It was annoying but you just had to deal with it, put a pillow over your head and hope they finished sometime soon.

Well not Caroline Cartwright's neighbors, they got tired of hearing the noise and called the police and filed 250 complaints against the 48 year old women. The complaints were for "excessive noise and moaning and screaming" The courts are forced to file a civil order for the noise. Cartwright says "I can't stop making noise because of sex, its natural" according to Asylum.com.

Caroline will have to appear in court on Monday.

This commercial gets me every time. The expression on his face, the look in his eyes. It tears me up every time I see it. It makes me think of my little cousins Will and Chris and how I would hate for them to go through something like that.

It also makes me wonder how did they get him to act the way he did? The baby is way to young to understand how to cry that way on the spot. What did they do to that poor little guy? It just makes me think.....

The commercial makes a very valid point? But did they go to far to make that point?

Do Guys Take Advice From Their Boys?

I was just wondering one day. Do guys get advice (preferably relationship advice) from their friends?

To me guys seem so stubborn and have so much pride that they are afraid to talk to a friend about advice on a girl. Girls are quick to call up their best friend to get a different view on the situation. I guess that is why women seem so confusing because they get advice from their friends and see that they were wrong and will apologize, even though before they couldn't give a damn. Guys way of thinking never seems to change. What they believe is what they believe and that's it. Apologizes are rare and if there is a apology it is usually half ass.


So I just want to know. Do guys get advice from their boys? I'm talking about good advice where you see that you were wrong.

Also do dudes get advice from a girl who is also their friend? To get a girls point of view? It seems guys never try to view a situation from a girls perspective, just theirs.

Why do boys feel they have to flaunt their money to get a girl? 

I ask this because I was in Burger King getting some chicken fries. Some dude came up to me asking me where I lived and I kind of looked at him weird. What kind of question is that, like I'm going to tell him...I live on so and so street? I told him "I live around here" So he proceeded to ask me other questions which I don't remember because I was half listening. He asked for my number and I was like "How about you just give me your number" He put his number in my phone and I started to leave. Before I turned all the way around to go he told me where he lived (where ever that was) and added "Yea so that means I have money" I said "Yea...okay...great!?" Lol. 

That is such a big turn off. Not that I was planning to talk to him, but still. Making sure you told me you had money made it even worse. Was I supposed to fall head over heels because he had supposedly had money? No I don't think so. I can take care of myself I don't need your money.

I feel sorry for all the girls who are dependent on a guy. All the gold diggers in this world, I feel sorry for all of you. Haven't you heard the music on the radio lately? A independent girl is in!! Why depend on a guy to take care of you? Learn to take care of yourself.

Tyra Banks Plans Re-Auditons

During Tyra Banks casting call for women under 5'7 ended early due to a riot that broke out, that sent 6 girls to the hospital. One of the girls would like Tyra and the show to help pay for her hospital bills. Another girl flew over from Georgia to audition in New York. She spent a lot of money for the plane ticket and for the hotel bill.

Many of the girls were heartbroken when they realized there dream was slipping away. Tyra didn't apologize for what cops and Mayor Bloomberg stated was a event that demanded more sercurity. The Bus

So Today I Was On The Bus, Going To Class. I Was Sitting Listening To Music On My Ipod, While Looking Out The Window. A Lady Gets On The Bus And She's Saying Something To The Driver. I Couldn't Hear What She Was Saying. I Figured She Was Asking If The Bus Went To A Certain Place. But Anyway I Didn't Pay Any Mind To It, So I Turned To Look Out The Window Again. A Few Minuets I Happened To Turn Around And Look At Her, This Time She Was Crying Holding A Tissue To Her Face. The Girls Next To Her Just Looked At Her Like She Was Some Type Of Alien. They Just Kind Of Stared At Her. Didn't Ask Her If She Was Okay Or Not.

So Going Back Home On The Bus I'm Also Listening To My Ipod, But This Time Im Texting. A Lady Gets On And Sits Across From Me. I Look At Her Because I Thought Her Outfit Was Pretty Cool. She Had Big Glasses On (I'm Guessing Prescription) Bright Red Lipstick On, Leather Jacket, A Short Patterned Dress, And Cool Looking Cowboy Boots. It Was A Real Vintage Look, Cow Girl Look. So Anyway, She Put Her Ipod In And Was Chillen. So I Continue To Text. I Look Up For A Minuet And Notice She's Crying Her Glasses Where Off And She Was Holding Her Head. I Just Sat There Looking At Her, Possibly With That Alien Look Those Other Girls Had.

So I Wonder. Why Do People Just Look At People Crying And Don't Ask If They Are Okay Or Not? Is It Because That Person Is A Stranger, And Afraid Of The Persons Reaction? Is It Because We Think It's Non Of Our Buisness? Afraid That If We Ask The Person Will Start Talking Our Ear Off? Is It That We Don't Care? Or Is It That We Are Just Shy?

Well For Me I Wanted To Ask But I Guess I Was Just Being Shy, Idk....But If I Was Crying On A Bus I Think It Would Make Me Feel Good If Someone Showed Concern And Asked If I Was Ok. I Would Also Be Highly Embarrassed But It Would Still Make My Day. Lol. So If You See Me On A Bus Or Any Type Of Public Place Crying, Ask Me If I'm Ok. =]

The story of Rihanna and Chris Brown Has Influenced many peoples lives. Chris Brown has lost many of his fans and supporters. Talk show hosts such as Opera Winfrey and Tyra Banks where inspired to have a special shows dedicated to domestic violence. Many girls are abused mental and physically across the world and do not know how to get out, even Rihanna is having trouble.

Robin Givens was physically abused during her marriage with Mike Tyson, a former heavy weight champ. After hearing about the Rihanna and Chris brown situation, she appeared on the Larry King Live Show. "He dragged me down the hall by my hair. He pulled me out of bed by my panties. He would like to choke me. He would kick." she told guest host Joy Behar. Robin Givens believe that every story about a girl being domestically abused is her story. Just like Rihanna, Robin also went back to her abuser after the attack and she even married him. She said that Tyson hit her before the marriage, but she believed he loved her.
