Breast Ironing in Cameroon

One out of four females get their breasts ironed by their mother or by another family member. This practice started because many of the young girls of the African Country of Cameroon were getting pregnant and parents wanted to stop this. It is also done to prevent sexual assault. The procedure is meant to keep the young girls breasts from growing, and to be seen as unattractive to males. This is extremely painful since hot stones are used to press the girls breasts down. Internet Bullying

This poor girl known as Kerligirl13 had emotional break down on twitter after she had a numerous amount of people bullying her on youtube. Her father even got involved.

I feel sorry for this girl, hopefully youtube hasn't ruined her life like she said. The internet isn't for the weak hearted, nor is it for a 11 year old child.

Good Hair

What is good hair?

Many people go around saying "He/she has good hair" So let me know what is the definition of "good hair"

If you are a religious person then you know that God makes NO mistakes. So then there is no such thing as "good hair" because if there is then there is also as such thing as "bad hair" and we all know God makes no mistakes.

You mostly hear black people talking about "good hair" saying that our nappy hair is not "good hair". Why do we look down upon what comes naturally to us? I understand that at times our natural hair can be very hard to manage but it doesn't mean its bad. I just wish I could make the saying illegal. 

Now before you say anything, yes I do have a relaxer in my hair. Not because I think my hair is bad, but because with the relaxer my hair is easier to manage. In the future I do plan to go natural.

Please people learn to love your hair, and kick the saying "good hair".

Do ONLY Black Stations Inform You About HIV/AIDS?

I've noticed that radio stations such as Power 105.1 in NY have commercials about HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. I really started noticing this because I usually don't hear this often. I'm glad they are informing our people about this deadly transmitted disease.

I started to wonder, is it only the radio stations that are most marketed to African Americans, that do this. I decided to ask my fellow followers on twitter, if they noticed that its only on black radio stations. One of my followers responded and said that on her punk rock stations and country music stations don't have such commercials

Don't you think that's kind of racist? Black people aren't the only ones who get this disease. Humans are all susceptible to this disease not matter what race. Nobody should be ruled out. I think every type of radio stations should have these kinds of commercials, because everyone should be informed and maybe one day we can stop the spread of this disease.

Adoption Story 2.

*Sighs* So the adoption agency hasn't called or written me back yet. I'm getting more and more anxious and wish they would hurry up.

I know what my last name would have been, even though i wont share that info on here. Lately i've been looking up people with what would be my last name on Facebook. I was surprised most of them are white, and a few black people. I also googled it, and came across a website that told me that, that last name may have originated from England. So now i'm really curious.

The suspense is killing me. There isn't much I can do finding them on my own since I don't have a first name. I'm hoping the adoption agency contacts me sometime soon, or I may have to contact them myself.

Happy Fathers Day

So I saved this to the drafts and forgot to post it. Sorry.

I was recently on Twitter, tweeting as usual when I saw a disturbing sight. On of the trending topics, or TT, on the board was #DearDad. Most of participating this TT didn't have anything nice to say about their fathers. I saw one twitter call her dad a "sperm donor". I just find it sad that men aren't able to step up as a father. If you are going to have sex, then be ready to except the responsibilities of becoming a father. I know sometimes shit happens but, you do not have to take that out on your child.

To all the males who grew up without a father, remember the pain you endured and the anger you had towards your father for not being there. Do not be like him, be a better man and take responsibility for your actions. Be a father to your son or daughter.

To all the fathers raising your children. Thank you. You setting a great example for your children and setting a pathway for many generations to come and hopefully your son will follow in your foot steps.

Justin Bieber Walking Into Doors

I dont know whats with Bieber running into doors. Some people say it's because he has to much hair in his eyes. Lol. Who knows but he needs to get it together. Poor boy.

On another note, regardless of him not noticing doors, i think he has a lot of talent. Looking at the little girls, and some boys...yea boys screaming for the Bieber reminds me of the time when I was in love with Nsync and BackStreet Boys. Every generation has its teen sensation, and Bieber is exactly that.


Some people are to busy hating on him to see the talent. They are too busy calling him a "fag" "queer" "douche" and a bunch of other names. I don't see how he's a "queer" because he definitely had or has a girlfriend, but most hater don't make sense anyway. Justin Bieber will be a better man than any of these rappers any day, esp Wacka Flocka Lame.... i mean Flame... [shrugs] But that is another story.

If Justin Bieber was here right now, i would tell him not to mind the haters. Continue to do what u are doing and don't stop.

Scotty Lago Uses Bronze Medal To Get More Girls?

The famous snowboarder Scotty Lago was using his bronze medal to attract girls, literally. He offered out a apology for the pictures that ended up on the internet, where a young lady is biting on his bronze medal that is between his legs.

Wow! If thats what a bronze medal can do, i wonder what a gold medal can get him.

Unfortunately he won't figure that out this year because now he has to leave the Olympic games

I'm sure the first thing everybody noticed, which is quite obvious, is that Heidi has gotten a boob job. She went from what looks like a A to a C. In the other picture below you can see that she has had a nose job, and collagen injections.

Tiger Woods Apology

Tiger Woods released a public statement Friday, February 19 2010. My first reaction as he started to speak was, he looked like he was crying. I noticed that his eyes were red, but as I continued to watch I noticed that he kept looking down at his paper. I know that celebrities have people who write their speeches for them, but I wondered if he even helped to formulate the speech. Did he put some of his own words in it? Did he give his own input? As Tiger continued to speak the answer became clear, No.

The only part of the speech where it seemed like he cared was when he was talking about his wife. He really tried to stress that she did not hit him on Thanksgivings. His voice seemed to get a little louder and stronger while touching that subject. It almost seemed as if he was protecting something. Either her or him. Maybe he was trying to protect her from getting into any trouble or to help her get out of the spotlight so she can finally move on with her life. Or maybe he was protecting himself, no man wants to be known for getting beat up by his own wife. Either way it seemed he was protecting something, who knows what it is.


He also mentioned how he only thought about himself and thought that as a celebrity he should be able to enjoy all of the temptations that came his way. I personally don't care how hard his life was or how stressful his life was before he become rich. Once you get married you should be ready to settle down. The cheating phase should have ended a long time ago. That goes for anybody, rich or poor. If you can't handle that, then don't settle down.


The part that got me the most was when he says says "'It's hard to admit, that I need help" and you notice that he looks out of the corner of his eyes twice, as if to say " why do I have to say this" Maybe he doesn't believe he needs help, he might have only said that because he was told too. This maybe not have been the case, maybe someone was moving around that caught his eye. Maybe he saw another pretty girl he's going to screw after the speech is over. Who knows.

Overall, I don't think he put his all into the speech. I don't feel as if his speech came from the heart. He was acting more like a celebrity than a human being, the feeling was not there. It's sad I am sure the public is ready to see Tigers human side, I wonder when that will happen, if ever.
